Did you shrink the goods?

Updated: Aug 27, 2020

Did you know that you should wash your Blessed Tee in cold water and dry it on low or no heat? No? Don't worry. You aren't the only one. But, the heavens have opened and blessings are pouring out because we believe good clothes are worth repairing. Here's a little hack to help you get your tee back to the size you bought it in.

First, put your tee in lukewarm water with a tablespoon of hair conditioner.

I mix the conditioner into the water before putting in the clothing item.  Let it soak for about 30 minutes. While it’s in there, gently stretch it in all directions being mindful of the graphic area. You don't want to stretch that area too much.

Second, rinse out the conditioner and let it dry flat.

Now, I personally get slightly paranoid, so I continue to stretch it every 20 minutes or so as it dried. I’ve also hung up some garments soaking wet and let gravity do some of the work because I’m a little lazy like that. You just have to be cautious that you stretch it in all directions and not just downward where it only gets longer.

The best part is that you can do this with just about any washable garment. It's time to save your clothes instead of just throwing them away. Here's to getting a few more happy decades out of your clothing.
